PIPE PENETRATIONS
ooking for the ultimate method for firesafe and gas, water and dust tight ducting of pipes? CSDR International has the answer. CSDR International has more than 30 years of know-how in developing and manufacturing pipe penetrations. The result? A product range that caters for a wide variety of applications, either in the shipbuilding, offshore or construction industry.

RISWATR
FIRESAFE, WATER AND GAS TIGHT NO PRE-ENGINEERING EXTREMELY COMPACT ASSEMBLY
RISE multi-pipe penetrations are firesafe and water and gas tight, and consist of a limited number of components. In addition, the multi-pipe penetrations are very simple to install. Unlike many other sealing systems, the RISE system does not require the application of special conduit frames. Use is made of strips cut from rubber sheeting (which are wrapped around the pipe) and inserts. On both sides of the penetration a layer of FIWA putty (FIre resistant, WAter repellent) is applied. No pre-engineering of the conduit is needed with the RISE system. RISE multi-pipe penetrations have been tested to the latest standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO 754(18) and are certificated for offshore (class H) and shipbuilding (class A).

BEESEALR
MOST EASY TO INSTALL FIRESAFE WATER, GAS AND DUST TIGHT
The BEESEAL system is used where several cables/pipes of different diameters have to be ducted. The BEESEAL transit system is gas and water tight up to excess pressures of 1 bar. BEESEAL multi-sealing modules (MSM) are used for sealing multiple pipes ducted through MCP frames. The actual closure of the pipe conduit is obtained by evenly pushing two or more modules into a MCP conduit frame after inserting the modules between the layers of pipes. The modules are supplied in a wide range of types, so that it is a simple matter to adjust the modular system to the pipe configuration.

RISE FIRESAFE COLLARS
FIRE RESISTANT EASY TO INSTALL
RISE firesafe collars for plastic pipes are used for the fire resistant ducting of plastic pipes for sanitation facilities and pneumatic dispatch systems. RISE firesafe collars consist of two identical parts, which are filled with expandable FRR/EHF rubber. This rubber type expands to ten times its original volume when exposed to fire. The expansion generates a pressure which is so high that the softened plastic pipe is compressed, thereby closing off the opening. RISE firesafe collars are certificated for offshore installations.

RISWATR
GAS AND WATER TIGHT NO PRE-ENGINEERING VERY COMPACT ASSEMBLY
The RISWAT system is specially designed for gas and water tight pipe penetrations in which the pipe(s) are allowed to move in all directions. The entire space around the pipe in the conduit is filled up with THERFIL insert sleeves. The shorter the length of the sleeves, the more movement of the ducted pipe is allowed. A layer of DRIFIL compound is then applied on the resultant carrier. The RISWAT system is very easy to install. No pre-engineering of the conduit is needed

RISER eccentrical
GAS AND WATER TIGHT NO PRE-ENGINEERING VERY COMPACT ASSEMBLY
The RISE system can be used for eccentrically positioned firesafe pipe penetrations. CSD sealing plugs can generally not be applied in such cases because the pipe has to be in the centre of the conduit opening. Use is made of rubber strips made of expandable FRR/EHF rubber (placed around the pipes) and RISE filler sleeves. On both sides of the penetration a layer of FIWA putty (FIre resistant, WAter repellent) is applied. The RISE system is very easy to install. No pre-engineering of the conduit is needed.

CSD SEALING PLUGS
VERY EASY TO INSTALL FIRESAFE AND WATER, GAS AND DUST TIGHT VIBRATION PROOF AND SOUND DAMPING CATER FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF REQUIREMENTS
The product range of CSD plugs comprises both sealing plugs and adapter plugs. CSD sealing plugs CSD sealing plugs are manufactured from high-grade synthetic rubbers. In order to cater for the widest possible variety of requirements, the CSD range includes six different rubber types. Besides sealing plugs for individually ducted cables or pipes the product range also includes CSD multi-sealing plugs for two, three or five same diameter cables or pipes ducted through the same transit opening. CSD sealing plugs consist of two, three or four equal parts so that they can be installed after the pipes have been laid. The unique profile both inside and outside the sealing plug guarantees a gas and water tightness up to excess pressures of 2 bar on the flanged side and up to 1 bar at the other side of the plug. The serrated profile on the outside is designed to allow the plug halves to be snugly fitted in the conduit sleeves. CSD adapter plugs CSD adapter plugs are used for conduit openings which have to carry a pipe so small in diameter compared to the inner diameter of the conduit opening that no fitting sealing plug is available for it. CSD adapter plugs consist of two equal parts, so that they can be installed after the cable of pipe has been laid. The inside of the adapter plug is perfectly smooth, so that the CSD single plug to be installed in the adapter plug for the sealing of the ducted pipe can be easily pushed in and obtain an effective seal between the two plugs.
